KING® ROAT RED DELICIOUS
ORIGIN:
It is a mutant of Hapke. Discovered in Algund near Merano in South Tyrol.
TREE:
The strength of growth is similar to Early Red One Erovan. Thanks to stronger growth this variety can be planted on dwarf rootstocks.
FLOWERING AND POLLINATION:
It blooms relatively early. Good pollinators are: Professor Sprenger, Evereste, Idared, Golden Delicious.
FRUIT:
The fruit is elongated and symmetrical. It is characterized by intensive glossy dark red blush, covering the entire surface of the fruit. Attractive shape and color give King Roat Red Delicious extremely elegant look. Fruit can be harvested at the same time.
FRUCTIFICATION:
The fruit stains a few weeks earlier than the initial variety.
TASTE:
King® Roat Red Delicious has a specific taste distinguishing it from a group of Red Delicious./span>
HARVEST MATURITY:
End of September, beginning of October.
STORAGE:
Storage period is similar to other sports of Red Delicious.
