COMPANY HISTORY

The company was founded in 1987. It is a continuation of gardening passion in our family, whose gardening roots reach several generations. Szkółka Drzew, Krzewów Owocowych i Róż [Plant Nursery of Trees, Fruit Shrubs and Roses] specialises in the production of fruit trees, berry shrubs and rose shrubs. This material is sold with a bare root in a packaged form as well as in containers – ready for direct sale. We have a modern machinery park, serving both for plant production and for plant packaging.

PRODUCTION

Generally, in our companies we produce:

• 1,500,000 rose shrubs in 300 varieties, including licensed varieties.
• approx. 300,000 annual and biennial fruit trees, including:
  • apple trees
  • pears
  • apricots
  • wild cherries
  • peaches
  • nectarines
  • plums
• 200,000 fruit tree root stocks
• approx. 5,000,000 pcs of rose shrub root stocks.
• Berry shrubs
  • 300,000 of gooseberry
  • 1,000,000 of black and red currants, including climbing forms
• A small number of other ornamental trees, including willows in grafted forms

The company also deals in seed production. We have our seed orchards and qualified fruit tree cutting orchards as well as a rose seed orchard.

The production of most plants, both trees and rose shrubs, takes place in a biennial cycle:

• year 1 root stocks and budding
• year 2 keeping precious plants and expedition in autumn.

STORAGE

The material is stored in wooden and metal “Manurack” type pallets. In total, we can store approx. 600,000 pieces of rose shrubs and 100,000 pieces of fruit trees of various species.
